Daedalus prides itself on applying a structured empirically founded approach to effective teaching based on the best practices and theory from aviation and the academic world. The approach is inspired by the medical world and uses 6 concrete steps that are applicable to all teaching and learning situations - Simulator training, classroom or actual flight training.

Aviation: Train the trainer
Daedalus specialises in helping airline instructors becoming more effective by applying a structured approach to teaching. This is applicable to experienced instructor pilots who wish to improve their instructional skills based on an analytical, hands on and empirically founded approach to teaching and learning.
Human Factors: CRM training
Daedalus provides specialized human factors training for pilots. The concept of CRM (Crew Resource Management) is based on the principle of utilizing all available technical and non-technical resources to maximise safety in an airline operational environment.
About daedalus
Daedalus was founded in 2023 by a commercial pilot with 20+ years of experience operating for Major Airline Carriers. During the C19 pandemic Daedalus started teaching effective teaching principles to junior doctors in Denmark as a part of their mandatory post graduate education. The principles from this course, combined with a Bachelors Degree from Lund University and two decades of experience and instruction in a safety critical aviation environment are the pillars which Daedalus are based on.
Daedalus' overall aim is to help aviation professionals become better and more effective instructors by providing them with a structured approach to teaching. This applies to simulator, classroom and lineflying instructors.
